Driveway & Concrete Cleaning in East Cobb

You can tell within about ten feet whether a driveway was surface-cleaned or done with a wand. One comes out evenly. The other comes out striped, and those stripes don't wash off.

Surface cleaner, not a wand

A wand cleans in a narrow fan, which means overlapping passes and visible arcs left behind. A rotary surface cleaner covers a wide, even path at consistent pressure and distance — the concrete comes out one uniform color.

It's slower to set up, and it's the reason our driveways don't look like tiger stripes when the sun hits them.

Stains are a different job than dirt

General grime, algae and mildew come off with the surface clean. Actual stains need chemistry, and each one needs different chemistry:

Send us a photo and we'll tell you honestly what we expect to come up and what we don't. We would much rather set the expectation before than explain it after.

The slip hazard nobody thinks about

The green-black film on a shaded walkway or pool surround is algae, and when it's wet it's genuinely slick. On steps and pool decks it's the one part of this work that's about more than looks.

Moss had taken the whole tread. On steps this is a safety job before it is a looks job — wet moss on brick is genuinely slick.

Stamped concrete driveway and apron. The dark band along the mulch bed is algae, not shadow — that edge is where a driveway gets slick after rain.

Questions

About driveways & concrete

Can you get the oil stain out of our driveway?

Often, mostly. Fresh oil comes up well. A stain that's been soaking for ten years has penetrated the concrete and usually lightens significantly rather than disappearing. We'll give you our honest read from a photo before you commit.

Will pressure washing damage our concrete?

Not properly done. Damage happens when someone holds too much pressure too close, which etches the surface and leaves permanent wand marks. A surface cleaner at the right pressure can't do that.

Do you seal concrete?

Not currently. If your driveway needs sealing we'll tell you and point you somewhere rather than guess at it.

We hired Williams Pressure Washing this past summer. I didn't realize how dirty & gray our concrete was until Matt worked his magic. Matt is the owner/operator & took special care to do the job. Couldn't be more thrilled. Since that time, I have referred him to friends & have only received rave reviews. Worth hiring!

Matthew at Williams Pressure Washing Co. did a fantastic job on our home. He cleaned our driveway, patio, PVC fence, and the north side of our house, completely getting rid of all the built-up algae and grime. His attention to detail is top-notch. He was extremely careful around our landscaping—even moving potted plants further away than we already had. Highly recommend!
